The
real estate of Summit Township
provides the primary township tax base. Properties were
assessed in 2001 in an Erie County reassessment. For the 2003
tax year and into the future, real estate taxes are
based upon the new assessed value.
Other
Summit Township income is derived from State and County funds, including
gaming revenue, landfill
host municipality fees, licenses and permits, fines and penalties, real
estate transfer taxes, some miscellaneous income and the cash balance
remaining from the previous year.
